Xfuel ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, date of birth, and gender.

Health & Fitness Data: We collect data you provide including weight, height, calorie intake, macronutrient data, water intake, and fitness goals. This data is stored locally on your device using SQLite.

Device Data: If you connect a Wear OS smartwatch, we receive steps, heart rate, and calories burned data via the Android Data Layer API.

Camera: We access your camera only when you use the barcode scanner or progress photo features. Photos are stored locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the app's core features (calorie tracking, macros, progress charts)
To calculate personalized nutrition targets based on your profile
To sync your profile data across devices via Supabase cloud
To send push notifications (only if you opt in)
To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob (free tier only)

3. Data Storage

Local-First: Your meal logs, health data, and recipes are stored locally on your device using SQLite. The app works fully offline.

Cloud Sync: Core profile data (name, goals, targets) is synced to Supabase for backup and cross-device access. Your Supabase data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase: Cloud database and authentication
Google AdMob: Advertising (free tier only; Xfuel Fit users see no ads)
RevenueCat: In-app purchase management
Health Connect: Android health data integration (with your permission)

5. Your Rights

You can:

Access, update, or delete your profile data at any time within the app
Request deletion of your Supabase account by contacting us
Opt out of push notifications in your device settings
Revoke Health Connect permissions at any time

6. Children's Privacy

Xfuel is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page.
